Hallo Akeyla,
Nadine

I haven't checked out your site in a very long time, and it's looking great! Your work was always very upscale and I'm glad you still continued even when times were tough for you. Take care sis!

Hello, I just stumble upon your site and after viewing it

I feel so compelled to write and send you this e-mail. I too, from a very young age was fascinated by animals, I loved them to the point where my parents entertained the though of sending me to a psychologist! And I loved to draw as well!. I recall my first time drawing. I was sitting at the kitchen table with my aunt and I drew a picture of a poodle dog, I was no more than about four five years old (my mother couldn’t believe I had drawn it, I recall her saying to my aunt, “ did she do that!”) From that moment on there was no tuning back for me. By the time I reached fourth grade I could draw well enough to illustrate a wildlife magazine. My talent was all natural, I had no schooling and I also didn’t need to look at a thing. I just had my imagination to draw from. I think it’s so funny how you mention painting on your desk, I did that also! Well, I drew on mine! My desk was covered! I recall how at the end of one school year my teacher made me clean my desk off in front of the whole class! She brought me some paper towels and a bottle of cleaning solution! As I got older I discovered the world fantasy and mythology. I love movies and books pertaining to these things and always loved the “monsters” and “magical beast.” the most! I got into creative writing. Hours could pass and I wouldn’t notice as I spent time in my own little world, designing various characters and writing about their adventures! To this day I have stories with in me dying to burst free, characters who I would love to flesh out in paintings and sculptures. Sadly many things in my life, as I got older prevented me from perusing my artistic side.
I wish you all the luck and well wishes in the world. You carry all the dreams of us that ever made it.
Sincerely
LaTonya Estelle Harrison ( LEH)
